Job Description

The Content & Digital Marketing Specialist works with the Digital Marketing team on content creation and brand marketing, with a focus on improving the communication of the Qbasis brand and thereby building brand equity. Content Writers are responsible for style and format consistency across all projects and communicating with other team members to create the best content possible. This includes creating compelling blog posts, white papers, product descriptions, social media content and web copy. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of producing pieces that increase engagement and drive leads. This position requires a high level of creativity, as well as the ability to use data-driven insights to write better material. The successful candidate should also be detail-oriented and committed to meeting tight deadlines.


  • Create marketing content (blogs, video, ads, email, web, etc.) to promote the brand. Share qualitative content on different social media channels.
  • Build and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns to build brand equity
  • Work closely with the marketing team on concept ideation, production, and editing
  • Analyse digital data to draw key recommendations around social media growth, digital presence and good website ranking
  • Prepare analytical reports, monthly/quarterly/ annual goal setting, competitor analysis and necessary digital trends report
  • Conduct social media and website audits to ensure best practices are being used
  • Maintain a digital dashboard of several different accounts
  • Coordinate with the digital marketing team to create effective marketing campaigns
  • Monitor key online marketing metrics to track the success
  • Ensure that the brand message is consistent
  • Support the goals set in the marketing plan, brainstorm new and creative growth strategies
  • Improve search engine rankings, evaluate the emerging design and keyword trends
  • Completing writing projects, meeting deadlines and following content requirements in terms of style and project specifications
  • Revising content to respond to feedback
  • Helping create style guides or suggesting changes to ensure content is consistent and clear
  • Conducting research on any given topic
  • Track and analyse website traffic flow and provide regular internal reports
  • Attain key performance indicators such as reducing the website bounce rate, increasing dwell time or improving conversion
  • Continually work on the Search Engine Optimization of the website(s)
  • Fix any errors or bugs in online content


  • Have a strong planning, organising and time management skills
  • Be able to work independently as well as be a team player
  • Ability to handle issues objectively and analytically
  • Experience in WordPress, Google Analytics, Adwords
  • At least 1 year experience in digital marketing or content writing
  • An understanding of search engine optimisation best practices
  • Understanding grammar rules and how to construct clear sentences
  • Being mindful of things like flow, readability, and sentence variety
  • Must have a quiet work space
  • Internet speed of at least 10 Mbps

Lead Generation Specialist

The Lead Generation Specialist is responsible for, but not limited to, the following::

  • Develop new business via telephone and mass communication such as email and social media to introduce and present Qbasis’s solutions; identify and qualify appropriate buyers within the target market.
  • Follow up on leads and conduct research to identify potential prospects.
  • Conduct a needs analysis and determine prospects pain points to determine how our solutions will speak to those needs.
  • Identify key buying influencers within these prospects to determine budget and timeline.
  • Build and cultivate prospect relationships by initiating communications and conducting follow-up communications in order to move opportunities through the sales funnel.
  • Work with management to develop and grow the sales pipeline and consistently meet quarterly revenue goals.
  • Manage data for new and prospective clients in our CRM, ensuring all communications are logged, in

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communications or related field
  • Experience in product sales is preferred
  • 1-3 years outbound market research, telemarketing and/or inside sales experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and/or exceed determined sales and activity quotas.
  • A proven track record of strong internal and external client relationships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be a professional capable of clearly communicating essential information including products, programs, and promotions.
  • Ability to build relationships and win the confidence of the customer
  • Proficient in written and verbal communication.
